They met us at our hotel in Lisbon and transferred us to the coast to start our hike. We stayed in a great mix of rural hotels, all very comfortable, and hiked along this unexplored coastal area of Portugal. Some great scenic hikes along the rugged coast and clifftops of Arrifana, Carrapateira and Sagres with the ocean as backdrop. Beautiful beaches and coves, some of them almost deserted. Brilliant food, especially the fresh fish and seafood. Finishing the hike in a place like Sagres, right in the southern tip of the country is fantastic.
