Our guide Daniel picked us up from our hotel and took us to Pinhão for a hiking tour. We had tremendous fun walking through the vineyards, along the river Douro. We then went for lunch at a local restaurant that Daniel recommended and it was superb. In the afternoon we went for a wine tasting at Quinta do Bomfim and then a boat ride, the whole day just couldn’t have gone better! Vicky,  Amazing sights, good food, and great company So glad we picked them to guide us on our family’s first walking tour in Portugal. Daniel was not only a foodie like us, it was like having a friend hike with us and help us get acquainted with the Portuguese culture and people. His easygoing nature and knowledge of the hikes made it so enjoyable, from the picnic with wine, sausages and bread to the delicious dinner at a winery. If you want a more intimate hiking experience without the quirks of too many strangers, I highly recommend them for a hiking tour!
