Discover the the beautiful surroundings of Lisbon - Sintra and Arrábida Sierras.
We took the walking trail of S. Cristovão do Douro. Our daughter loved it and was quite curious about the information the guide was giving. The weather helped as it was mild in March, I advise you to take a camera to photograph the beautiful sceneries that the Douro offers. The walk itself lasted for a couple of hours but we took our time. Do bring a hat if it's sunny! The restaurant where the guide took us was very good, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. I would do this activity again and I will certainly be attentive to new walking tours in Portugal.
So glad we picked them to guide us on our family’s first walking tour in Portugal. Daniel was not only a foodie like us, it was like having a friend hike with us and help us get acquainted with the Portuguese culture and people. His easygoing nature and knowledge of the hikes made it so enjoyable, from the picnic with wine, sausages and bread to the delicious dinner at a winery. If you want a more intimate hiking experience without the quirks of too many strangers, I highly recommend them for a hiking tour!
